KalinaGreen Festival.
KalinaGreen Festival.
This project is fictitious. It was produced as part of the final exam for my Master's degree in Digital Art Direction.
The project involved creating a strong, coherent visual identity for the KalinaGreen festival, to be held annually in Martinique. The main objective was to reflect the eco-friendly and festive spirit of the festival, while effectively communicating the key messages of raising awareness of the preservation of the Caribbean islands and promoting local short circuit products. The main challenge was to strike a balance between these two seemingly opposing objectives, while creating an easily recognizable and memorable visual identity.

Goals

To meet these challenges, I began by carrying out a comprehensive analysis of the market and competitors, as well as the festival's key values and messages. I then worked to develop a color palette, typography and graphic elements that reflected the festival's unique identity. I also created a logo that represents the two aspects of the festival, ecology and celebration, using a dynamic, modern font and incorporating natural elements such as leaves and flowers. To add a Caribbean touch, I also used bright colors and nature-inspired designs.

Challenges

The results were very positive. The eco-responsible, festive design helped reinforce the festival's image as an event committed to preserving the environment and promoting local produce. Thanks to this strong, consistent visual identity, KalinaGreen, if it really existed, would certainly have seen a significant increase in the number of participants and engagement on social networks, helping to reinforce its position as a major eco-friendly festival in the Caribbean.
